How much do pastry chefs make?

I was watching a show on Food Network with my cousin, it was a show about cakes, and it just looked so interesting. Alright, so I am 15, and I never really had any experience with pastry making. Nothing extreme anyway. So, yeah, how much do they make? Oh, and if you are studying to become one, what kind of job would you have if you're still studying in school?

I actually went to a Tech training school while I was in highschool (counted toward my highschool credits) and I took culinary arts and hospitality.
