Why do customers complain about Customer Service so much?

Servers/Waitresses/Waiters are not robots you know. We try our best to give good customer service, but some people get picky over the littlest things. Why don't people understand that we're not robots?

Because society (and waiters/waitresses) EXPECT us to give them 15%/20% MORE than the cost of the food for their "Customer Service", and call it a "gratuity". And what we get in exchange for that is a load of crap.

because it is the waitress/waiter's job to provide the best service to it's customers. when you dont do the right stuff it shows you dont care about your job. and technically you are working for the customer. if you make them unhappy and no one goes to your restaraunt you have no job.
