What are the pros and cons of each type of bank account?
I am considering opening a first bank account. What are the advantages and disadvantages of opening a money market account over a savings or checking account? I am looking to open an account where I will save most of my income and spend as little as needed, yet have room for growth and high interest returns. Also, I am wondering if PNC, Kearny Federal Savings, Wachovia, Td, and Valley National are good banks, as they are closest to my location.
