Creatinine level always at high normal range?

It seems that my dog's creatinine level always at the normal high range (if 141 is the top of the range, he is around 138 to 140 area). BUN is normal and urine test came back with very good concentration. My dog is a 17 mths old Newfie, with active lifestyle and good diet. Anyone has similar problem with their dogs? The vet is not too concerned at this stage. He is going to get neutered next month and we will do a kidney ultrasound as well. Anyone

newfoundland dogs have an inherited disorder called cysteinurea, ask the vet if they have a test for it? I had a dog for 11yrs he had high/normal BUN,just like your dog. Or was this my dogs Creatitnine level?always tested high, but never really increased. He died from something unrelated, at 11yrs.
