	How much would it cost to paint a 1994 chevy camaro? Im looking to buy a 1994 Chevy Camaro and its a mahogany reddish color, a color that i really do not like, and im looking to go to a Maaco and buying a new paint job. and i was just wondering how much it would cost me. Asked By: C - 11/13/2009

That depends on how much paint you want, how much you want painted (the engine compartment and sheet metal underneath the interior will still be that ugly red), how many layers it'll take/you'll want, and of course, the main killer, labor. Plus, you'll want a quality paint job, otherwise you'll regret it. If you go to Maaco and get a cheezy $500 paint job, it'll show. The paint might be cloudy, body parts might not match, there could be bubbles in the paint, etc. If you want a high-quality paint job, you'll have to shoot for the 4-figure area. In the end, it would be better to look for another '94 Camaro. You could at least get a color you like if you keep looking, and God knows there's tons of them out there if you look. I suggest going to http://www.craigslist.com or http://www.autotrader.com (both sites I used when I was looking for my '98 Camaro). If you live in the OC area of California, you can also check out the Recycler. Some good cars go through there. Never settle for less than the best, even if you have to look for a while. Hi whatever u do don't go to maaco they do cheap jobs but they last very little time I have a shop and to do a camaro with a color change u are looking around 600 to 2500 depending in the conditions of the car, the type of paint u want and t new color u want,black, white and some light colors are more cheap,read,silver,blue those are some of the expensive colors but on an estimate with a color change for cheap paint I will say 600 to 800 for a decent job with medium quality paint and clear I will say 950 to 1400 and for the best paint u can use I will say 1300 to 2500 the best paint I use is ppg this is very expensive around 350 a gallon of clear but when i paint peoples cars with this I give them lifetime warranty hope this helps Answered By: chuco - 11/14/2009

Maaco is advertising a paint job for about $300.00, but for a complete "color change" I would add another $150. to $200.. This requires painting door jams, trunk parts and interior parts of the doors. The amount of change is up to you as to how complete you want the job done. Then go to Maaco and ask them. They have different levels of their job paint jobs...also, without seeing the car and seeing what kind of body work it might need it's impossible to give an estimate. Keep in mind their paint is junk....and will last a few years at best. You're going to ruin the car. For a REAL color change the motor should be removed, the interior should be removed and every single inch of that car should be repainted. Are you willing to do that or have your car look like a hackjob car if you get it done at Maaco? If you don't like the color of the car you might be buying then don't buy it, look for a car in the color you want, you're better off to be honest. 	How do I get a job with Dodgy work history and no experience? Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. But I hate cashiering because it's too easy and I want a job that is more interesting. Any suggestions for me on how to get a job that is NOT Retail with the type of background I have right now?
