how can you break a contract with a dentist?

i was getting a crown because of an emergency. and the dentist didnt help me or refer me to someone else that is cheeper, due to my economic hardship. and i now found someone that will help me with what i need. so my question is that the dentist started the job but i dont want the crown from her. do you think i can pay for wat she has done and have her refund me the rest?

It depends on how far into it you are. If she has already prepped the tooth for a crown and placed a temporary crown then the impressions have more than likely been sent to a lab for fabrication. The lab will complete their work and have it returned to the dentist in 2 wewks. If the crown is made, she has a bill to pay... More

if you have already paid for the whole treatment then it will be difficult to get your money back.

It may be too late. Even if the lab has not constructed the crown, he still spent the most expensive part of the procedure on you. If he only charged for time and materials to date, you would end up paying more to have a new and less expensive dentist take over.
