Why join the military and risk your life for a welding course?????? Go to your local vo-tech center.

Don't join if you don't want to deploy. You obviously aren't willing to fight for your country, so don't join the military.

Guaranteed if you join up to any branch you will fulfill the military part first if they need you. We are at war you will get your training when your tour is over. So if you are not willing to go "over there" go to a trade school for your training.
