Denver or Phoenix? Which is better to live in?

I have to move because of my job and I get a choice of either Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ. Just wondering which is a safer city to live in? Which is more fun? Which has more to do? Ive been to Denver once but never really got a chance to look around. Never been to Phoenix but I have been to Arizona. Im moving from Oklahoma so the heat in Phoenix wont bother me, however the winters in Denver might be different. It doesnt really snow here. Thanks!

Just keep in mind, there's 12,000 sq miles of towns here in Phx. 35 towns. in the 'valley'. has everything, and never really far from what you need. I live in Queen Creek, a nice quiter, more desert town. Very nice. Look it up. 29th best town in USA
