Why are the Chamber of Commerce and the NFIB not at the jobs summit?

These two organizations represent businesses that create 75% of the new jobs that aren't paid for by taxpayer money. They also employ about 60% of the people working today. It would be just a guess-- They got the cold shoulder because they didn't back the current Health Care Reform in Congress. But then they also don't back Card Check and Cap a trade. With those three bills in the works and everyone of them is a potential job killer. You have to wonder how long the folks in Washington DC are going to ignore the small business owners and continue to pander to big businesses.

Its a farce. The job summit is a farce and ultimately Obama and his cronies want to keep unemployment high because it will lead to more uninsured people and garner further support for his plan to reform health care and grow the nanny state. You cannot legitimately have a job summit without inviting representatives... More

BO only invited union representatives and campaign supporters. He does not believe in allowing people to have the freedom to be their own boss and start their own company. .

Obama is not interested in hearing any points of view that are at odds with his own philosophy, however disastrous that philosophy has been for America so far. Obama stands for increasing taxes and bigger government. This kills jobs. A jobs summit is pretty stupid under the circumstances.

Obama likes to ignore people he doesn't agree with. He thinks it somehow makes them illegitimate like that whole news channel.

Because it is going to work the same way the Stimulus did, only people who want kick backs for getting Obama elected get to go in, Obama is saying F#ck the American people.

Many great answers so far ... I write to note that this is a Goebbels-like propaganda summit. Repeating a big lie. Again and again.
