How can a person change their career track?

Okay, here it is. I was a second shift janitor, for 15 years (and my clients said I was very good at the job). Now the problem. Due to being diagnosed with Chronic Asthma, my lung cannot take chemical fumes, any-longer. If I go back into janitor work, it will mean more hospital visits, or worse. I am, fairly good, with the basic use of computers, but I dont know Cobol from Excel, PowerPoint, etc. I am trying to get out of manual labor, and move into work, which will not cause breathing problems. My job coaches, and I have spent most of the past year trying to think of the names that companies use for workers, who perform data entry, for them. I have tried Data Input Operator, Data Entry Keyer, and several others. The problem is that, no matter which term I use, even on search sites, like Monster, and Yahoo HotJobs, all I get are referrals to become a "Work-from-Home" person. What am I doing wrong? What search terms should I use, for a person who needs to change careers, yet they dont know what words, phrases, and sites, to use, for this career change. Any suggestions????
