Military wife going to Osan, Korea. Advice please!?

We are not planning on having children for medical reasons, so please advise me on what I can do to pass the time for 2 years in Korea. We are only allowed to take one car, so holding down a job may prove difficult. Can I buy a car there? Will I have to get a Korean driver's license? How can I make the best of it, while avoiding the trap of staying at home all day on the internet? No baby making, and I am usually a very social and creative person. Yet, I fear I will suffocate with no way to go anywhere when I want to.
