how can I immigrate to New Zealand?

I am Mechanical Engineer with Masters in Supply Chain Management from a US college and have 2 years of work experience in USA and one year in India. Due to economic hardship and difficult immigration situation here in USA, I am planning to move to New Zealand. Can please some guide or refer me to some one. Any help will be appreciated.
