You need at least CAN $10,000 saved up NOW before you apply - you need to show proof of your funds when you apply. You need to still have that $10,000 available for you when you get to Canada. You will be expected to show that you have access to it when you arrived in Canada.
This is what you will LIVE ON when you arrive in Canada before you can find your first job.
Do not expect to have arranged employment in Canada.
You will also need to pay for the costs of immigration which is around CAN $5000 - on top of (extra to) the $10,000 you must have saved up.
NO employer in Canada is going to wait 6 years for an employee to start work.
Police check - you will have to get a police check
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/india.asp NOW there is one faster way to apply - BUT this involves being required to live in one place for 3 years before you can move elsewhere.
