Hard for a Sabbath observer (Saturday) to find pharmacist job?

I am starting pharmacy school soon and I am a sabbath observer which means I cannot work on Saturday. My cousin warned me that it is hard for an observer to find a pharmacist job because I cant work Saturdays. Is this true?

You could donate your earnings of saturday to charity, that way you wouldnt personally benefit personally i recommend charities such as Orphans of Palestine and Widows of Palestine

Anyone in any kind of retail must always work Saturdays. I understand your dilemma, but if you insist on observing the Sabbath then don't go to school as it will be a waste of time and money because no one will hire you. I think G-d will understand your need to make a living. Maybe you could arrange not to work Friday... More

You can try and tell an employer that you're unable to work on Saturdays but that might not go over too well with some people, especially if you're new to the company. In most retail/hospital pharmacist positions (90% of all pharmacist jobs) you required to work a certain number of weekends a month. It is done out of fairness. You also won't be able to work Friday evening shifts. They might allow it if you work every Sunday. You will hard to schedule.
