how long does it take for redunduncy to come through ?

just wondering if anyone can help . recently lost my job 13th nov ,the company who adminstered the liquidation of the compay had gave us a rp1 form to fill and instructed us to fill in straight away and return to our secretary telling us the quicker she gets them the quicker she sends them to us and result the quicker you get your redundancy from the government .as i believe the company has now been taken off the register and officially the company was put into liquidation on the 10th of dec . i phoned the redundancy office approx 10 days ago and they had told me they had not recieved any forms regarding our redundancy and yesterday my collegue phoned and still they had not recieved anything from the leonard curtis . i am really really upset by it all ,done everything i had been asked to do and still nothing and as each week goes by my overdraft is rising currently £1000 with bills coming out ,its taking forever for insurance companies to cover me requesting forms info left right and bloody center and obviously on purpose stringing the claim s out after i have been paying into them for years .i have no savings my partner has no savings as all we had we put into decorating the house in preparation for our first child he is 16 weeks old .told all the family we could not buy any presents as we have next to nothing coming in to the house and after 14 years hard loyal service to a company with no warning no redudancy pay and no notice pay how does the government expect me to survive on 64.30 a week .its bad enough going to sign on grrrrr once the redundancy office get these forms does anyone know the timescale as to when i could expect to see my paltry redundancy money in my account ???????? cheers
