Living expenses & Part time Employment with the course:
MBA courses in UK are generally for 18-21 hours of study per week. Hence
the lectures are generally for 3-4 days a week and you do get time for
part time jobs. Part time employment is permitted along with the course.
You are allowed to work 20 hours per week during the lectures and full
time during vacations on a student visa. Part time jobs are generally in
Call centers, Retail Stores, Cash Counters, hotels, fast food joints, etc.
which pay you around GBP 5.5 to GBP 7.20 per hour. Hence during vacations
you can earn around GBP 850 approx. per month and during lectures you can
earn around GBP 450 per month approx. Your living expenses are worth GBP
380 per month on sharing basis to GBP 600 per month in non sharing
(Accommodation – GBP 220 to GBP 300 per month, Self Cooked Food – GBP 70
per month, Travel GBP 50 to GBP 75 per month, General Expenses – GBP 50
approx.). Hence you can easily manage your living expenses from your part
time jobs. We also provide you assistance for part time jobs.
