cna employeer force you to have group insurance?

I have multiplan but my job considers it insufficient and that I must have their insurance. I will be losing a good deal of money and I drive an hour to work so the lose of money won't justify my driving that far when I can make the same at a different job 30 mins down the road. Also the insurance I have I don't have a deductible where with the jobs insurance I have a 1,000-2,000 dollar deductible. I am just wondering can my job force me to have 'group' insurance? Isn't any type of insurance sufficient? Please help me

If your employer pays 100% of your premium, they can require you to take their insurance. If they don't, they can't. But if they feel that strongly about it, they'll find another reason to fire you. And no, not "any" type of insurance is good - some are completely worthless.
