Where do I get my 2009 w2 form if became unemployed before my employer received it?

I left my job in November. During the appropriate time earlier this year my employer provided me with the 2008 w2. Are they mailed to me or will my past employer still receive them? Also, are there alternate way to acquire my 2009 forms? Thank you.

your employer should be issuing you one by the end of Jan. if he gave you one earlier and did not block out the 2008, he is wrong and should have waited for the correct forms to be available to send you the 2008 one if it is for 2009 earnings is absolutely wrong make sure you employer has your correct address

Your past employer will mail it to the address he has for you. If you don't get it by early February, contact them, then if you still don't get it, contact the IRS.
