Looking for a good job in Dominican Republic?

I'm living in New York City right now... All my work experience are in Retail / Sales Representative and Store Management... I want to go to live in Dominican Republic Island, I speak english and spanish... I want to know how hard is to find a good job in Dominican Republic? Some one could give me some information?

Sometimes is hard to find jobs in DR, but an english speaker can always find job in a call center and the payment is not bad, and keep looking for a better job.

You live in NY Hang out with the Donimicans and find out what is going on. I am in St. Louis and I know that. The PR's will direct you if you get lost.

You can find work in the Dominican Republic being able to speak english. But the pay is not much compared to what you are use to.The average wage is between $180 to $220 a month for a job like you have now.

Unless you are multi-lingual with in demand talents or qualifications forget it. Hundreds of people try the same thing every year and unless you have enough money behind you to last several months, it is almost impossible to find a decent job.
