There are only two jobs I can think of: A professor and a writer. Either teach mythology in a classroom or write books explaining your views on the subject. In a subtle way, mythology plays a huge role in modern society.

"Writer" is correct - $100,000 is the approximate salary of a tenured and published professor. It's wonderful to read that you're interested in studying Greek and Roman mythology. It would help if you also studied Latin and Ancient Greek. This knowledge would give you greater insight into the myths. Good Luck!!
