How much does a video game tester make per year?

Also, I'd like to ask, is it hard to become a video game tester and what skills are needed to become one? And finally, what company would you recommend me to work at? Thanks :)

I'm not sure for certain as I've never looked into this but I doubt very much. The company has the choice to hold an open or closed Beta that would get far more testers and likely far cheaper. So good luck.

Very few make a lot of money. Skills needed are patience because you literally must test everything. For example in games like Oblivion you must test the inventory with every one of the thousands of items, test the maximum amount, test every tree, test every invisible wall, test everything quite literally.
