What are things that I can do by being in security forces in the Air Force?

When I tell people that that is what I am going to do they say, "oh sorry to hear that or that sucks" so what is so horrible about it? Also, what exactly does security forces do, because now I think I am confused?

Lots of different things such as K9 dog handler, nuclear security, phoenix raven, counter sniper, investigations, swat... You really should talk to a recruiter to see all the possibilities. Good luck to you! I too am leaving for SF, and I'm going for Phoenix Ravens.
