Does anyone know what the problem to a car when it starts then shuts off right away?
I have a '93 Lexus ES 300 and when I turn it on it shuts off like 15 to 20 seconds later. And when I let it sit, I have to charge the battery because it won't start so whatever it is it is draining the battery. I know it's not the fuel pump. I had to drive with two feet one day but it won't allow you to do that anymore. I had it on one day and it stayed on without my foot on the gas but it was like fighting to stay on but also fighting to cut off. Is it the battery or something else? The other major parts (engine, alternator, starter etc.) seem to be fine. PLEASE HELP! I don't know how to check the fuel filter. I don't even know what the fuel pump booster is. But is that really why the battery is going dead too.
