How likely is it for my friend and I to find a job in England?
My friend and I want to go to England for the summer and possibly get a job there. I was thinking about going to Portsmouth since I have a friend there I'd like to see. How likely is it for us to get jobs there? I'm sixteen and my friend is seventeen, although we're from Poland we're both fluent in English. Also, are there any good sites to find a job there?

In summer must be lots of jobs, you can always try doing dishwasher, they will pay you cash, and restaurants are busy during that season so you will have no trouble finding one

There are quite a lot of Polish people working in Portsmouth and Southampton. Many of them register with local agencies for temporary jobs.

Why not...all the other Polish people do! The only problem with getting a job in England is if you are actually English!!!

At the moment, unemployment is high. Getting a job means you will be competing with a lot of people. It's getting better though, so by summer, the job situation should be ok.

If you're happy to do waitressing or hotel work there should probably be jobs available during the sumer season. You could try Hayling Island which is popular with tourists in the summer.
