Anyone work as a mystery shopper?

I am thinking of applying just curious to if it is a good job? Any advice would be great? I am in the UK

It's not really a job, it's more of a fun hobby. You aren't ever going to make much money. You might get called 3-4 times a year, and you normally receive £15 for filling out each survey after your shop, plus you get to keep what you bought (or ate if it's a restaurant). Most are scams, they send you a check that you cash and send them the rest. Their check bounces and you are held responsible for the money.

I don't recommend Mystery Shopping as a full time job. It is more a way to supplement your income. There are loads of companies that will give you free meals for a review, free hotel stays, free items to buy, or just a little extra cash for talking to an employee.
