Do air force combat controllers have as physically demanding of training as Navy SEALs?

also Do CCTs really fight along with them or do they stay back and call in airstrikes most of the time? which job is recommended more?

CCTs go through extremely tough training, close to or even on par with what SEALs go through. CCTs can be attached to any number of units, which can include Navy SEALs. If you mainly want to do direct action you would probably be better off going with Army or Marine Infantry or Rangers.

Their training is tough, but it doesn't have the mystique surrounding it that BUD/S does (which is the way it should be, BUD/S is tougher)

An Air Force FACC serving in an Army Ranger Battalion IS given the opportunity to go to the Ranger Course.
