Is there a way for me to study about astronomy?

Some of you may say, yeah there is its called be an astronomer. I know that already, but my grades really aren't that great. Is there a job that I can do to be able to study space as a career or is there at least a way to become an astronomer or something and get myself into a school that would allow me to do so. I love the universe and want to learn more I would love for it to be a career please help.
