What Do you think is the reason that Nascar is now talking about changing the COT?
Do you think they have finally realized that the COT wasn't the way to go? Or is it possible that they finally realized that not all drivers can drive a loose race car? Maybe ticket sales and advertising revenue have dropped enough to force them to make the races more exciting. It just seems to me that they did everything they could to make everyone live with the COT and now, all the sudden, they are willing to make changes.

Well one thing needs to be noted first! NASCAR is only "talking" about changing the COT. They were originally going to change the wing at Daytona but now it looks like Texas will be the date ... and that is only until then that they MIGHT. I personally think they are just talking to maybe quieten the public roar... More

They are finally listening to the drivers for a change. They wanted everyone, including the drivers, to accept and live with the COT, but the teams and drivers still can't figure it out, after 2 seasons with it. I think the car itself, the way it was designed, was not living up to NASCAR's expectations. They saw a... More

Not once last year did I hear anyone use the words "aero push". The real problem is that now the cars are too equal. When every driver has... More

well the COT is the way to go just not the wing part, when the COT came out i liked the whole car better than the old car EXCEPT the wing, made it look like a little ricer, its like putting a big wing on a Camaro, Mustang or any other V8 muscle/pony car, wing almost destroys the look of the car, i laugh when i see a... They aren't talking about changing the COT, just the wing.. They never put the COT into a wind tunnel backwards, and it turns out that was something they should have tested before putting the cars on the track.. After all, who ever heard of someone driving a stock car backwards at 200 MPH.. Of course NASCAR can't say... More
