As a dental assistant, do you prefer to work for General dentist, Orthodontist, Endo, or etc.?

I will be finishing school and I still don't know what field of dentistry I want to pursue. Do some pay more than others....If i chose to work for an orthodontist, would he pay less than a general dentist? What are the pros and cons from your experience? Thx...10 pts to most helpful answer
