More job losses amid fears recession will blight Britain for years to come, does the UK need immigration?

"AstraZeneca, Shop Direct and Toyota all cut more jobs as experts warn that unemployment could rise for many more years" Other than very highly skilled or wealthy people does the UK require any immigration? http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2010/jan/28/astrazeneca-shop-direct-toyota-job-cuts?CMP=AFCYAH Apple would it not be better to get someone off the dole? So they can pay tax & spend money?

Only highly skilled workers, medical staff, investors and entrepreneurs. We should not be importing low skilled and unskilled workers, especially those who will need to claim tax credits and other public funding.

of course we don't need immigrants. there are enough unemployed british people in the UK who are crying out for jobs. the sad thing is that the foreigners will get the jobs because they are easier pleased. i think we should send the unemployed foreigners back home and dont let any more in because all they do is come... no we don't need more we need none as the job market is now gone they have all the jobs the good houses the benefits they are not entitled to [government fault] they are allowed here to work only as their country does not give out benefits to the english if we went there do they so yes stop it now get secret police...
