More job losses amid fears recession will blight Britain for years to come, does the UK need immigration?

"AstraZeneca, Shop Direct and Toyota all cut more jobs as experts warn that unemployment could rise for many more years" Other than very highly skilled or wealthy people does the UK require any immigration? Apple would it not be better to get someone off the dole? So they can pay tax & spend money?

Only highly skilled workers, medical staff, investors and entrepreneurs. We should not be importing low skilled and unskilled workers, especially those who will need to claim tax credits and other public funding.
