What will a generator mechanic likely be doing in the army?

My husband chose generator mechanic for his job in the army, what does this entail? wow thanks for all the dick answers.

I will take a wild guess and say he will be working on and maintaining generators. I could be wrong............

he'll go to school for a generator mechanic but he probably won't be doing that for a job

No mystery with this one. He will spend his time keeping generators serviced and operating. Very important work when so much of our military is forward deployed in areas with unstable electric systems. We have to keep the power flowing! Good luck to your husband.
