Hi, We really want to emigrate to Australia in next 2 years. Hubby is employed at Int company Rio Tinto Primary Metal. They have smelters in Aussie. He is a Trainer and Pot Room Operator. I work as Civil Servant at Jobcentreplus but also have 14yrs tax office experience. We want to apply for the correct Visa. We own our property here however due to current climate, once its sold the equity is under 5k. We have a couple of grand in bank but not much followig unepected pregnancy 3 years ago. Our eldest son is 18 he is staying in UK. Our other 2 are aged 10 and 3. We want a better quality of life. My first obtacle is the visa process... what job would each employment be considered on the skills list. I cant find Civil Servant/public sector or Metal foundry, metal worker. Does anyone have any ideas? We have family in Geelong. Where is the best place near them for climate/ schools/ jobs/ family lifestyle? Any help would be appreciated Thanks Kerry oh ok i appreciate my position however my hubby will apply direct with his emplyer for secondment/ internal transfer.
