If want to be an event planner as my career what should my major be for college or university?

Okay, i really want to get a job in the event planning world after college but i dont know what i should take in college to get me ready for that job, so are there any specific majors in college that are related to event planning,i have heard that hospitallity management might be one but i am not so sure,so what would be the best major to take to get a good job in the event planning field?

u don't need to take a major just for even planning, as it's ok a very small portion of business related majors. eg: marketing, management. u learn from your job, internships also help a lot if u have the chance.
