what is the job title work in a hospital with new born baby's?

The women that care for them in the nursery while the mom sleeps.

I think they are labor and delivery nurses. However, at the hospital I had my baby in, they rotated and each nurse didn't get to spend all of their time in the nursery, they made rounds and did other stuff too.

They still have those horrible places? I would assume you are talking about a nurse (registered, not practical). Im shocked that they even have nurseries where they take babies and leave them separated from the mother.

RN on the maternity floor. Not labor and delivery, they don't care for the baby (only during delivery and maybe an hour or so afterwards).
