How much math and chemistry is involved in your job as a clinical dietitian?
I am in college studying to be a clinical dietitian, it's my passion to heal people through fitness and nutrition, but I am scared of the math and chem aspect of the job. How difficult is it? Let me know what your job is like and if you enjoy it..thanks so much!

You need math to do EVERYTHING. Maximize your Math classes, even if you won't use extremely advanced math. Any job you ever go for in any field requires math, and to be better off advanced math. Then Chemistry is probably needed. Nutrition alone is so tricky, its best to study chemistry and more preferably biochemistry... More

If you can use a calculator, you should be fine. There isn't much of a chemistry aspect when you're actually out practicing. Its not like you're going to be drawing glucose structures for your patients. Good luck :-)
