Why do so many people think illegal aliens only do jobs that Americans don't want?

In many states they have taken over the construction industry. Don't we need construction jobs for Americans? Not everyone goes to college. These illegals are not just picking fruit & cleaning toilets.

you are correct i'm a union laborer and in my local there are maybe 5% white guys the rest is mexican.every where i look the mexican is working while i sit home ,now the union checks i.d. #'s ,but it is real easy to go to sanfrancisco and buy a green card .if the manager is mexican he or she will hire mexicans.
