What's the word for a person whose job is choosing people to fire?

In big chain companies they often have people whose job is choosing which people to fire in order to cut expenses. What's the term for that?

Only one person does not have the right to fire there are many persons responsible for this right from manager to ceo but the owner can do anything if there is a post like this everybody will be good at the person who has rights
