Is Wikipedia more reliable than a beadless abacus?
I have heard from my teachers and my tax accountant not to trust Wikipedia, but I think they are saying this just to protect their own high-paying jobs. I need to know just how reliable Wikipedia is, here on March 1.

You have to understand what Wikipedia is in order to use it effectively. It's a user-generated encyclopedia. While there is some moderation, it is sparse, used only in controversial topics, and often ineffective. (That's not their fault, it's the business model... More

I always hear this from my teachers too, and I never know what to think! I just use Wikipedia to get a general idea of what my topic is about and then move on to other sources. If you do use info from Wikipedia just make sure other, more "reliable" sources back it up... More
