is this a scam job offering or legit?

I got an e-mail from a company saying they found my resume online, i read it over and its for an online IT job for celerity group inc, i've googled that company a few times and haven't seen anything to be wary of, it offered a job with a base salary and a commission on tasks completed, everything seems pretty legit, it asked me to e-mail back if i was interested with any questions, it also had a form to fill in that asked for my first name, last name, phone number and preferred time to be called, everything seems legit, but i just got an e-mail (on another e-mail account) with basically the same offer, different wording, but its essentially the exact same thing, same job, same salary, but its from Synapse Group Inc is this just some scam or something i don't want to waste my time with? i didn't know where else to ask than here, any help is much appreciated i've checked ripoffreport, and complaintsboard, and BBB, and nothing has come up with a red flag, thats why the second e-mail i got really threw me for a loop, i am in no way going to give any information to these guys because i know that a company doesn't really need it, yeah i posted my resume online, the first e-mail from Celerity even said where they got it, which was correct, i still have found anything negative about it yet,

Sounds very phishy. Be careful and do as much research as possible. You won't necessarily catch it with google, especially if it's a new scam. Remember never to give out your SS# or passwords to anyone. I'd recommend looking at ripoffreport, complaintsboard, FTC, BBB, and FBI sites... More

As a representative of Synapse Group, Inc., I can tell you this is absolutely a scam, not connected with our company. We've fielded several emails and calls from confused and concerned people who received the same email for a job opportunity. While we have no idea why our name is linked with this, we do know that we... More

Hey Guys, I got a "job offer" from these fraudsters as well. Here's a link where some folks did a pretty thorough analysis of the ''job offer". http://www.bobbear.co.uk/synapse-group-inc.html
