Is audio engineering a bad career to pursue?
My passion is in music, but I want something safer than performance. I was considering audio engineering. but with the internet and computers now-a-days is this a dying career?

It's a great career for people who can find work, but that's becoming increasingly difficult. Lots of colleges and trade schools have added audio engineering programs to their rosters, so people who graduate with that degree face stiff competition for the few jobs available. I too love music and audio engineering. I chose to do those as a hobby and went to engineering school and graduated as an electrical engineer. This will put food on the table reliably, and your education will enable you to be an extraordinary audio engineer whenever you do that... More
