need information on computer programmer?

ok i have a project due tomorrow. i kinda waited to the last minute. but i have to do a powerpoint on computer programmer career. the instructions on the paper says: 2. Research the career: duties, salary, business you could work for, education, licensing, certification, etc. 3. find a well-known person that has/had this career. Research this person and tell about their career background and life. i don't really understand what information i'm supposed to be looking for here. the teacher kinda just gave us the paper and didnt really explain. i already got the salary and education part. i just dont get the rest. can someone please help? explain what info i need/looking for?

duties are to gather info from the user and design and program around the need, business would obviously be microsoft , any game company , licensing and cerifications A++ certified . just google a lil bit of what i typed
