What should the USA do and can this ever be resolved?

Before the indirect peace talks have even begun the Israeli government has brought them to an end by breaking their won moratorium on new construction in occupied lands that are in dispute. They were blasted by Vice President Joe Biden and other leaders from Europe and South America (as was and has been reported in Yahoo News, etc.) Can the USA continue to support Israel after this and Israel's long history of human rights violations against the Palestinain Jews, Christians and Muslims? How do you think this will be resolved? My previous post that addressed this same issue was swamped by pro Israeli supporters who happily distorted historical facts with out right lies to justify Israel's past actions and condemn my post. It was also reported and deleted after it had been answered and a BA had been awarded. They will probably do the same to this one as the truth seems to be a bit uncomfortable for them. namaste

To be honest I think the USA can do nothing simply because it is up to both the Israelis and Palestinians to see sense and stop fighting. There is too much money in this war. If the fighting stops, the Israeli defense and secret service would lose a lot of funding and position of power within the Israeli government... More

The US should accept the fact that this is a religious war that has been going on continually for over 5,000 years and as such will never be resolved through diplomacy. Let them duke it out and may the best god win. There is no valid reason why we should be wasting time, money and lives over there.
