Can I be a school bus driver if I have a misdemeanor?

I did the wrong choice in the past and now I am paying for it. I was accuased of petit larceny and i wasn't fingerprint or taking to jail. I paid all the fines and court cost, can I still work as a school bus driver with this charge.

If you were not taken to jail, you can apply to be a school bus driver. If they dont ask you about it dont mention it, most of the time, they just ask you if youve commited a felony. Usually it won't but every state has slightly different standards. A petty theft conviction will not automatically disqualify you from obtaining state certification in any state that I know of.
