How many classes a week do you take when going to school to become a kindergarten teacher?

I want to start school next semester to become an early childhood education teacher but i still need to work my 40 hours a week at my job. Has anyone been in a similar situation and if so..how many classes a week and/or hours a week were you attending class? I live in tx

Many colleges are now adult friendly and offer evening and weekend courses to working people. You can take as many or as few credits as you want, but , of course, the more you take the quicker you'll finish. The number of hours a week depends on you... what you want and when you want to finish. One thing you didn't mention is family obligations. If you have a family, you probably won't be able to plow through as quickly as you could if you were single... More

You can take 3 classes a week (5 maximum). If you take less than that, you can't receive any educational funding (unless you're on Social Benefits). You can still work and go to school.
