How do Formula 1 teams work? What is the structure?
I'm a big fan of formula 1 but have never understood this. For example, they have the name of the team then the name of the car. Is a team owned by a company, like red bull for example and then the company chooses a car, for example redbull use a renault? If this is the case why do BMW Sauber use a ferrar? Why don't they use a BMW? and lotuse use a cosworth? Does that mean if any team using a ferarri win, ferrari don't care who it is even though there is a ferrari team? Also why do they have multiple teams? For example there is renault red bull but also a renault team and also mercedes gp and mclaren mercedes? 10 points for best answer. Thanks.
