I'm thinking about a home care job for helping the elderly?

Is there a specific job name for this? I want to be able to have certain clients i help and go to their house and help them with everyday tasks. Also seniors in the early stages of dementia while they are still able to be at home. Almost like a companion.

My sister owns a company that hires people to do exactly what you describe. She is located in Virginia. If you live in that area I could put you in touch with her. She hires around 100 people who all work in the homes of the patients, just what you are asking about. It's a great job.

CNA = Certified Nursing Assistant. There are many schools where you can learn and be certified. It will also allow you to work in a hospital or nursing home if you want.

Yes, you are the home health aide. They even give classes for it in community colleges. They last for two weeks and you do become certified.
