Are American jobs in the arms industry more important than innocent Palestinian civilian lives?

I ask this as there have been a few posts saying that the jobs are more important If this is the case America can surely find new markets to replace Israel. Dare I say it Such as Iran ? A great way for Obama to get his own back for the snub from Israel over the building of 1600 units.

In our new America nothing is more important than making money. Not our country, not our religious beliefs, not our families, not us. Money. Wealth. If Palestinian lives were important, would we be cowering and afraid to confront Israel about their settlements? I don't think so.
