Why do they keep calling it "health care reform" when it's really just "health insurance reform"?

It has nothing to do with changing the way health care is performed. Just the way we get health insurance.

No insurance = No health care. Also, the lunatic right-wing fringe, insurance company shills, and the others opposed to reform have built a gigantic wall of lies to scare the peasants into supporting their otherwise unjustifiable position.

Educate yourself. There is MUCH more in there that doesn't have to do with insurance, but the way that health care is delivered. Where did you get the false idea that it was just about insurance?

What ever the label may be. It will delete the millions of americans that can not currently afford the exorbitant rates that are charged to obtain medical treatment. No matter what the republicans say there is way too many human beings this day and age that are dyeing because they cant get help.

Because it really is. There's a good model just north of our border in Canada. long waits to see doctors (sometimes months), denied treatment because your too old, or it's not in budget, shortage of staff, etc.... You should do a little research into the Canada health care system to see the model the US Health Care... More
