POLL: How come some Americans are against Obama's health care changes?
I am just interested why, as it makes a lot of sense to me. In the UK we have the National Health Service, even though people moan about it, it does mean that anyone can get treatment, whatever there income level. Just interested, thanks xx

My dad doesn't like it because he thinks it's socialist and it limits the number of procedures a hospital or whatever can have in one year. I don't really have an opinion on it.

because our country isn't ready for it and is afraid of change. we are afraid that quality of care will decline and there will be longer waits to see medical attention. these are just a few reasons. we will also have to cut back in other departments to cover the cost of more health coverage. i'm against it

Cant understand the opposition either but then im from UK also. The one thing I am worried about is that it may make the insurance I currently have, become more expensive. Besides that I would love to get on a government plan that would be cheaper than what I am paying now, but it will more than likely be of low quality and not much cheaper, and We will end up paying higher taxes...
