What does a Navy Electronic Technician do and where do they go?

Im torn between being a Combat engineer in the Marines or being an Electronics Technician in the Navy so my question is if i was to choose the Electronics job where would i go and what would i be doing? Thanx and in you're opinion which would be better to do?

Where you go and what you do as a Navy ET largely depends on what specialized training you get after "A" school. So it is important to choose your "C" school carefully. ET's repair electronic equipment. AT's repair AVIATION electronic equipment. ETs are just about any place you find the Navy. AT's are at Naval Air Stations and any ship that has planes/helos. There are also NUCLEAR ETs. Obviously, they work with the nuclear reactor on ships, surface and submarines. (USN retired)
